AVG keeps my computer safe.
AVG keeps my computer safe and identifies unsafe sites and viruses and takes care of them.
The one thing I don't like is that they have so many packages that do other things that I feel that I end up paying for too many things. I believe that for a while I was paying for duplicate services.

Sold on AVG
Since using AVG for the last 6 years I have had no issues. In fact they have caught many issues before they got in and fixed them. Also keep my apps up to date and many other things. I am not techy so leave it to the professionals. I would definitely recommend them!

I don't have to sweat the details!
Keeps me informed of any necessary upgrades, problems, and what actions I can take. Takes care of upgrading drivers, etc. on it's own. Good, easy-to-use selection graphics. I feel like it gives me good protection against hackers and trackers and even makes me aware of their efforts. I feel safer with it as my protector.

AVG - Brilliant Computer Protection
AVG Internet Security maybe expensive but in my opinion it's the best. I've never had a problem with bugs since I signed up. I also have Tune Up, Battery Saver, VPN & Anti-Track all from AVG and I'm just as satisfied with them as I am with their Internet Security.

All the years that I use
All the years that I (and a whole Computer Club of friends) use AVG (started in the 90's), we never had anyone with virus-problems. I recommend it to anyone that asks for my opinion. It's also user-friendly and straith to the point. You also update regularly Free-users.

AVG support gives me the feeling of being safe online
AVG support gives me the feeling of being safe online.
There have been a number of occasions when AVG have warned me about possible bad website problems and I have been able to exit these sites very quickly.
Also knowing that AVG has regular updates to combat the seemingly never ending attempts by hackers is a great comfort

A good overall app with a number of…
A good overall app with a number of scan options from quick scan to an in depth one. Dashboard is good. What i would like is a package that includes all the different apps that AVG offer, like tracker, cleaner with the main anti-virus app. Gets very expensive to have them all.

I have been using AEG Free for several years
I have been using AEG Free for several years. My son in law is in IT and manages cyber security for the firm he works for. He recommended this product to me years ago and still runs this product on his home PC as believes it is very effective in protecting him from viruses etc.

The company is very patient and continues to provide a basic service to those of us who can not just yet afford or find it economical to buy the full product. The messages that pop up from AVG are trying to scare me into subscribing to the full subscription.
"oooh, the bad guys know your ip address , your banking information can be in jeopardy"
I don't need to be manipulated into fear so that AVG can make more money. Thank you very much , other then that you are great.

Just put the Nofication at the App so we can check it but instead the old version is rlly troublesome that like ding ding ding ding. Just read mine for more improvment dont take it to heart thanks if u lke my opinion i gadly Avg change in my opinion tho

A few issues
A few issues. The AVG version release donot update automatically even though it is setup to do. I have to manually go and click on update.
It keeps saying anyone can see what I am doing online - can't see how that can be when I have the AVG security system on.
I have been experiencing these issues not just today but for months/years.

tAVG will notify me when they feel there's a

Excellent Software
Quite Simply, AVG security tools " do what they say on the tin". I've never had any security issues.
The additional tools like AVG TuneUp, Software Analyser, Driver Updater keep my desktop up to date and fully operational.

It has protected me and my digital activity for a long time now.... maybe 10 years is my guess.
The add on modules makes it a little expensive for the home user.
Maybe AVG should offer its complete suite to loyal users for a fixed, low price. I would be willing to pay ZAR 250pm billed monthly not annually.
